Weather and earthquakes Do you think weather and earthquakes are related? Well I do. The last two earthquakes we had here in Chile (little ones, not the big ones from 2010 or 2015), I think they happened in august, I'm not entirely sure...but the important thing about it is that I predicted them both. Yes, I knew they were going to happen, I mean, not the exact day or hour, but I knew it. I'm sure you are wondering now, how the hell could I possibly knew that? Well, I will tell you my secret. First it started like a simple joke, like we can observe that weather one day is extremely hot and the next day is raining and very cold, that is the first clue, or opposite weather considering the season, like 30°C in august, that's weird don't you think? Well every time I see that happen I say it's going to be an earthquake. Of course nobody believes me, or tells me don't say it because they don't like earthquakes, but I think, as we live in a seismic country like...

18 holidays

The 18 holidays, for me its just a vacation time and an extension to my birthday's celebration. When I was in school, usually my birthday was the last day before the the 18's break so we didn'd have classes, instead of that we ate empanadas and sometimes we perform traditional dances. It is a nice way to spend a birthday when you are little. The next days I usually celebrate my birthday with my family and friends and enjoy the sunny days of september. Generally I go to a fonda to buy a terremoto or chicha to drink and something to eat. I remember when I was a child, me and my family use to go to Parque Intercomunal's fonda in La Reina, had lunch and watched some traditional games, horses,  and people playing with their dogs until my uncle had alergies attack and we had to leave inmediatly. That was an every year story.  This year, I'm goning to my favourite place ever: Tongoy. I don't really know if there are fondas in Tongoy, but really I don't care so mu...
